Cocoa Cake

Thanks to T-Cool for this family recipe that dates back to the old country during WWII. Ingredients:

1 3/4 cup Flour 1 cup sugar 1/4 teaspoon salt 3/4 cup cocoa 1 teaspoon Baking soda 1 cup buttermilk 2 teaspoons vanilla 1/2 cup vegetable oil


1. Preheat oven to 350 2. Grease and flour a 9x2 round cake pan 3. Mix ingredients and poor into cake pan 4. Bake for 30 minutes 5. Cool for 5 minutes before turning out of pan. 6. Add powdered sugar to top if desired.
